Mario "Rio" Renderos is not just a fighter; he's a symbol of resilience and determination. Born in East Los Angeles, California, Mario's childhood was shaped by his love for sports and martial arts movies, which inspired him to pursue a career in fighting.

After serving in the Marine Corps and experiencing the hardships of war, including suffering from PTSD, Mario hit rock bottom. But he never gave up on himself. Despite feeling alone and turning to the wrong people and substances for solace, Mario found the strength to pull himself back up.

Growing up in a broken home and facing bullies in the rough streets of East LA, Mario always believed that someday things would improve. His heroes, including Kobe Bryant, Oscar De La Hoya, and Diego Sanchez, inspired him to chase his dreams and never give up.

Martial arts became Mario's salvation, instilling discipline and character. He knew that this was the path he needed to take to save himself. Today, Mario is not just a 33-year-old veteran with three kids; he's also a student pursuing an associate degree in cyber security while working as a forklift operator in a warehouse.

Mario's accomplishments are a testament to his hard work and determination. From serving in the Marine Corps to competing and winning medals in Jiu-jitsu and becoming an MMA fighter, Mario has never let his circumstances define him.
