Director Sixel

Meet Saoirse Cichy, an 11-year-old dynamo born at Camp Pendleton, CA. Despite moving 8 times by age 9 due to her dad's service in the US Marine Corps, Saoirse found stability in her love for waterskiing, snow skiing, and drawing anime.


Inspired by Rhonda Rousey, Saoirse embarked on her martial arts journey at the tender age of 2. Her diverse educational background reflects her nomadic lifestyle, but her mini farm with horses, goats, sheep, and chickens grounds her. Saoirse's uniqueness extends to her prowess as a junior Chain Skimmer and her ability to dominate in martial arts despite frequent weight class changes.


Her medals, including a 1st place sword at the NAGA Illinois State Championship, attest to her skill. Saoirse dreams of becoming a professional fighter, hoping her journey with Team USA will garner recognition from fight promoters. Her message to aspiring youngsters? Chase your dreams relentlessly, just as she aims to do in the ring.

My name is Saoirse and I am 11 years old, which makes me the Youngest Member of Team USA.


I born at Camp Pendleton, CA.


Something about my past I have overcome is moving 8 times by age 9. My dad was in the US Marine Corps and I had to constantly change schools and meet new friends.


Growing up, my heroes were Rhonda Rousey.


I started to train when I was 2 in Oklahoma with my dad and I thought it exciting and fun.


I have been to schools around the country as my dad was in the US Marines.


One thing I would like people to know about me is I have a mini farm with horses, goats, sheep and chickens.


I’ve been waterskiing since I was 6 and I’m a junior Chain Skimmer, which is a professional water ski team.


I am most proud of Being able to consistently win despite having to frequently move up weight classes to find matches. Winning a 1st place sword at the NAGA Illinois State Championship in BJJ and being able to finish a Denny’s Grand Slam breakfast at 2 years old!


If I could inspire anyone, it would be to encourage other kids to chase their dreams.
