Hey there! I'm Anthony Gomez, a 17-year-old from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Growing Up:
As a kid, I loved building sandcastles at the beach and making friends at the park playing basketball.
My biggest heroes were always my mom and dad. They instilled strong values in me and made sure I knew the difference between right and wrong.
Facing challenges early on helped me develop grit and determination. I learned to overcome procrastination and take responsibility for my actions.
Finding My Passion:
When COVID hit, gyms became my outlet. I trained hard, hitting the heavy bag and eventually joining a martial arts gym to learn the right way.
Balancing school and training has been a journey, but I'm proud of the consistency I've built.
Who I Am:
I'm a fun-loving person who enjoys sharing laughs, but I also take my training seriously.
My ability to adapt and connect with different people is something I consider unique. My long hair might also turn a few heads!
Proud Moments:
Balancing school and rigorous training.
Consistently hitting the gym and staying dedicated.
Contributing to changing a Wisconsin law to recognize Indigenous Peoples' Day instead of Columbus Day.
Team USA Aspirations:
Representing Team USA at the World Games is a dream come true!
I'm eager to learn from experienced fighters and businessmen, gain international competition experience, and use this journey to guide my fighting career.
Let's connect and chase those dreams together!
